The Khawarij

Muhammad Nasir uddeen al-Albaani said:
«Today – and history repeats itself as it has been said – there has germinated some Muslim youth who have not understood the Deen except a little, they hold the opinion that the leaders do not rule with what Allaah has revealed except a little.
They also hold the opinion that it is allowed to rebel against them without consulting the people of knowledge, Fiqh and wisdom, rather they follow their own whims and they rouse up a blinding Fitnah (tribulation), and they split blood, in Egypt, Syria, Algeria and preceding that the Fitnah in the Haraam in Makah.
So by this they opposed the authentic hadeeth upon which the Muslims, those who preceded and those who came later acted upon except the Khawarij sect.>>
