Jareer -Radhi Allaah anhu- said:
“ما رآني ﷺ إلا تبسم في وجهي”.
‘The Messenger ﷺ did not see me except that he would be smiling at me.’
[Collected by Bukhari and Muslim]
Al-Hafidh ad-Dhahabi commented:
‘This is from the manners of Islam. It is necessary for whoever frowns a lot and is disheartened to smile and make his manners better.
He should loathe his bad manners. It is necessary for the soul to strive and correct manners.’

🌅 قال جرير رحمه الله تعالى:
*”ما رآني صلى الله عليه وسلم إلا تبسم في وجهي”.*

علق الحافظ الذهبي فقال:
هذا خُلق الإسلام، وينبغي لمن كان عبوسا مُنقبضًا أن يتبسّم، ويُحسِّن خلُقه، ويمقت نفسه على رداءة خلقه، ولابد للنفس من مجاهدة وتأديب”.
