Loving Women is from Perfection

Shaykh ul Islaam Ibn al-Qayyim -Rahimahullaah-said:

‘As for loving women, then there is no blame upon the person who loves them. In fact it is from his perfection. Indeed Allaah -Subhanahu- blessed His worshippers with women, He said:

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

. <<And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect.>> [Rum: 21]

Allaah has made so that a woman is tranquillity for the man, where his heart finds rest and peace with her. Allaah placed sincere love between the husband and wife, which is (al-Muwada) love and friendship linked with mercy.’

قال ابن قيم الجوزية
وأما محبة النسوان فلا لوم على المحب فيها بل هي من كماله
و قَدْ مَنَّ اللَّهُ  سبحانه بها على عباده فقال
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
فجعل المرأة سكنا للرجل يسكن اليه قلبه وجعل بينهما خالص الحب وهو المودة المقترنة بالرحمة
