Good Deeds

Young Children are rewarded for Good Deeds
Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah -rahimullaah- said :
‘Young children are rewarded for what they do from good deeds, even though the pen has been lifted from them in regards to bad deeds.
As is established in Saheeh Muslim that a woman lifted up her child towards the Prophet ﷺ and asked:
ألهذا حج؟
‘Can he perform Hajj?’
The Prophet answered:
نعم، ولكِ أجر
‘Yes, and you (also) get a reward.’
Collected by Muslim in his book.’
Ibn Taymeeyah continues:
‘. . . . so a young child is rewarded for his prayer, fasting, Hajj as well as other good actions. He is given preference due to that, over the one who does not do good deeds like him.’

قال ابن تيمية رحمه الله :
“والأطفال الصغار يُثابون على ما يفعلونه من الحسنات ، وإن كان القلم مرفوعاً عنهم في السيئات ؛ كما ثبت في الصحيح أن النبي ﷺ رفعت إليه امرأة صبياً فقالت : (ألهذا حج؟ قال : نعم، ولكِ أجر} رواه مسلم في صحيحه.
فالصبي يُثاب على صلاته وصومه وحجه وغير ذلك من أعماله ، ويفضل بذلك على من لم يعمل كعمله”

The reward for the Qur’aan every single Day
Shaykh Muhammad bin Salim Bazmool said:
‘Did you know that there will a reward written every day for Abu Bakr, Umar bin al-Khattab and Uthmaan bin Affan -RadhiAllaahu anhu- until the Qur’aan al-Atheem is raised up?
This is because Abu Bakr gathered the Qur’aan in scriptures.
He did so based on the advice of Umar.
Uthmaan made copies of the Mus’haf and sent it out to the provinces.
May Allaah be pleased with them and them with Him.
The people read the Qur’aan from the Mus’haf which the origin is of what Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan -RadhiAllaahu anhum- did.
Therefore, they are being blessed with that reward until Allaah raises up the Qur’aan al-Atheem from the Suhuf [plural of Mus’haf].’

Reward Equivalent to Fasting & Praying for every day of the year
عـن أوس بـن أوس الثقفي يقول : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ غَسَّلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاغْتَسَلَ، ثُمَّ بَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ، وَمَشَى وَلَمْ يَرْكَبْ، وَدَنَا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَاسْتَمَعَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ عَمَلُ سَنَةٍ أَجْرُ صِيَامِهَا وَقِيَامِهَا»
From Aws bin Aws ath-Thaqafi who said I heard the Messenger of Allaah sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam saying:
‘Whoever performs a perfect Ghusl on Friday then goes very early to the Khutbah, walking and not riding, sits close to the Imam, listens and does not speak or keep himself busy then for every step towards the Khutbah is the reward equivalent to a year of fasting and praying.’

Al-Mulla Ali al-Qari -Rahimahullaah- said:
‘The people of knowledge say: ‘We do not know of a hadeeth of the Prophet -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- which has more reward than this hadeeth.’

The Five Conditions are:
1 – Performing a Ghusl
2 – Going early to the Masjid
3 – Walking to the Masjid
4 – Sitting close to the Khateeb
5 – listening to the Khateeb and remaining silent
خطـوة واحدة تســـاوي : ( صيام وقيام!! )
عـن أوس بـن أوس الثقفي يقول : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ غَسَّلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاغْتَسَلَ، ثُمَّ بَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ، وَمَشَى وَلَمْ يَرْكَبْ، وَدَنَا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَاسْتَمَعَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ عَمَلُ سَنَةٍ أَجْرُ صِيَامِهَا وَقِيَامِهَا»
والترمذي: (496) وقال حديث: حسن وقال الألباني في صحيح الجامع الصغير (صحيح) 6405
قال الملا علي القاري:
▪ يقول أهـل العلم : لا نعلم حديث للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أكثر ثواباً من هذا الحديث

▪ ( بـخـمـسـة شــروط هـي ) :
1- الإغتســـال
2- الذهاب مبكراً للمسجد
3- المشي إلى المسجد
4- الإقتراب من الخطيب
5- الإستماع والإنصات للخطيب
Even with a good word
The Prophet sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam said:
اتقوا النار ولو بشق تمرة، فإن لم تجد فبكلمة طيب
‘Fear and keep away from the fire even by giving half a date, if you do not find one then with a good word.’

The great scholar Ibn al-Uthaymeen said:
‘A good word, like one would say to someone:
– How are you? – كيف أنت؟
– How’s things? – كيف حالك؟
-How are your brothers?
– How’s your family?- كيف أهلك؟
Also that which is similar. This is because these are from good words which make a person happy.’

كلمة طيبة
قال ﷺ :
“اتقوا النار ولو بشق تمرة، فإن لم تجد فبكلمة طيبة”
رواه البخاري
قال ﺍلعلامة ابن عثيمين :
كلمة طيبة مثل أن تقول له:
– كيف أنت؟
– كيف حالك؟
– كيف إخوانك؟
– كيف أهلك؟
-وما أشبه ذلك؛ لأن هذه من الكلمات الطيبة التي تدخل السرور على صاحبك .
