Shaykh Al-Albaani said:
‘The problem of the Islamic world today is a more dangerous problem -and some people will perhaps dislike what I am about to say- the problem of the Islamic world today is more dangerous than the occupation of Palestine by the Jews.
The problem of the Islamic world today is that they have gone astray far from the correct way.
They have not learnt the Islaam with which they can implement delight and happiness both in this world and the Hereafter.
With this, if the Muslims live with some problems while being subjugated and oppressed by the Kuffar and the Mushriks, and they were fought against and crucified and then died. There is no doubt that they would have died being delighted even if they lived in this world subjugated and oppressed.
As for the one who lived mightily in the world whilst he was far from the correct understanding of Islaam as Allaah -Azza wa Jal- and His Messenger wanted, then he would have died miserably even if he lived apparently happy in the Dunya.’

مصيبة العالم الإسلامي اليوم مصيبة أخطر و قد يستنكر بعضكم هذا الذي أقوله مصيبة العالم الإسلامي اليوم أخطر من احتلال اليهود لفلسطين مصيبة العالم الإسلامي اليوم أنهم ضلوا سواء السبيل أنهم ما عرفوا الإسلام الذي به تتحقق سعادة الدنيا و الآخرة معا و إذا عاش المسلمون في بعض الظروف أذلاء مضطهدين من الكفار و المشركين و قتلوا و صلبوا ثم ماتوا فلا شك أنهم ماتوا سعداء و لو عاشوا في الدنيا أذلاء مضطهدين أما من عاش عزيزا في الدنيا و هو بعيد عن فهم الإسلام كما أراد الله عز و جل و رسوله فهو سيموت شقيا و إن عاش سعيدا في الظاهر
