Reading Hadeeth is Delight

Shaykh Muqbil al Wada’ee said:
Indeed, I – by the praise of Allaah- love the Book of my Lord and the beautiful Sunnah.
Especially Bukhari and Muslim, to me reading them is the sweetest delight in the Duniya.
Indeed, when I open up Saheeh al-Bukhari and say, Imam Bukhari Rahimahullaah said, that Abdullaah bin Yusuf said, that Malik narrated to us.
Or if I open up Saheeh Muslim and say Imam Muslim Rahimahullaah said, that Yahya bin Yahya narrated to me that I read to Malik; then I forget the problems of the Duniya and its matters.

قال العلامة الوادعي رحمه الله..
إني بحمد الله أحب كتاب ربي والسنة الغراء، سيما “الصحيحين”والقراءة فيهما عندي أحلى لذة في الدنيا، وإني اذا فتحت “صحيح البخاري” وقلت : قال الامام البخاري رحمه الله: حدثنا عبدالله بن يوسف،قال : حدثنا مالك.
أو فتحت “صحيح مسلم” وقلت : قال الامام مسلم رحمه الله : حدثنا يحيى ابن يحيى، قال:قرأت على مالك، أنسى جميع مشاغل الدنيا و مشاكلها.
