Shaykh ul Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah (d. 728 A.H.) said:
” فعلى كل من انتسب إلى الدين بقولٍ أوعمل ، أن يكون متبعاً للصحابة مقتدياً بهم “.
‘It is upon everyone who ascribes to the Deen in either statement or action, that they follow the Companions, taking them as their example.’

قال شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية :
” فعلى كل من انتسب إلى الدين بقولٍ أوعمل ، أن يكون متبعاً للصحابة مقتدياً بهم “.
