The Qur’aan descended from up High
Ibn al-Qayyim -rahimahullaah- said:
There is a clear distinction that Allaah sent down the Qur’aan from Himself. As in His saying:
《 تَنْزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ مِنَ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ》
《The revelation of the Book (this Qur’aan) is from Allaah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.》[Surat Al-Jathiya 2]
《 تَنْزِيلٌ مِنْ حَكِيمٍ حَمِيدٍ》
sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allaah). [Surat Fussilat 42]
《 قُلْ نَزَّلَهُ رُوحُ الْقُدُسِ مِنْ رَبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ 》
《Say Ruh-ul-Qudus [Jibrael] has brought it (the Qur’aan) down from your Lord with truth 》[Surat An-Nahl 102]
This indicates to two matters: that the Qur’aan is clearly from Allaah and no one else. That Allaah is the One who Spoke it and no one else.
Secondly: That Allaah is high above His creation, that the trustworthy Ruh [Jibreel] descended with the Qur’aan from Allaah from a high place to His Messenger.’
