The Qur’aan is Mercy
القرآن رحمة
Allaah Ta’ala said:
( وإنه لهدى ورحمة للمؤمنين )
《 And truly, it (this Qur’aan) is a guide and a mercy for the believers. 》 [an-Naml: 77]
Ash-Shawkani -Rahimahullaah- said:
“إن القران لهدى ورحمة لمن آمن بالله وتابع رسوله، وخص المؤمنين لأنهم المنتفعون به”
‘Indeed the Qur’aan is a guidance and mercy for the one who believes in Allaah and follows His Messenger. The believers are specified here because they are the ones who benefit from the Qur’aan.’
