The noble Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan said:
الانتساب إلى السَّلف الصالح شرف إذا تحقَّق هذا الانتساب ولم يكن مجرَّد دعوى …
‘The ascription to the Salaf as-Salih is an honour, as long as this ascription is implemented and not just a mere claim.’
