Opposing the Book & the Sunnah is Misguidance

Shaykh Muhammad Nasir uddeen Al-Albaani said:
‘These people who oppose the Book and the Sunnah, they are – no doubt- misguided….
Therefore, as long as this is the case, they are sick and it is obligatory that we have compassion for them and that we deal with them with gentleness and invite them as is mentioned in the Ayaah:
( ادْعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ ۖ وَجَادِلْهُم بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ )
《 Invite to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. 》
We continue with this stance until it becomes clear for us, from one of these people, that he is proud and arrogant and denies the reality and that being gentle and soft does not benefit anything. Then here comes the statement of our Lord Azza wa Jal:
( ﺄﻋﺮﺽ ﻋﻦ ﺍﻟﺠﺎﻫﻠﻴﻦ)
《and turn away from the foolish》
