The Khawarij

Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah said:
‘Ahl-ul-Sunnah – praise be to Allaah – are united in that the Khawarij are misguided people of Bida’ and that it is obligatory to fight against them, this is due to the authentic texts. Also that the best good actions of Amir ul-Mumineen Ali were to fight the Khawarij. The Companions are in agreement in fighting against them.’
