- The Trial of Arrogance
Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymeen -Rahimahullaah- said:
“كم من امرأة جميلة يتزوجها الإنسان رغبة في جمالها ثم تكون نكبة! تدلُّ عليه بالجمال وتفخر عليه وتعلو عليه.”
“How many a beautiful woman is married to desiring her beauty, but then she becomes a calamity! She treats her husband with haughtiness because of her beauty, boasts over him, and acts superior.”

- Beauty without Piety
Narrated by Ma’mar ibn Rashid from Qatadah -Rahimahullaah- who said:
كان يقال: مثل المرأة الجميلة الفاجرة كمثل الخنزير في عنقه طوق من ذهب
“It used to be said: The likeness of a beautiful but immoral woman is like a swine wearing a collar of gold.”
