Being overwhelmed by the Non-Muslims

Shaykh ul Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah said
وحيث ظهر الكفار . فإنما ذاك لذنوب المسلمين التي أوجبت نقص إيمانهم. ثم إذا تابوا بتكميل إيمانهم نصرهم الله.
‘The reason for being overwhelmed by the non-Muslims is because of the sins of the Muslims which causes the deficiency in their Eemaan. Then after that if they repent by perfecting their Eemaan Allaah will aid them.
