The Rank of reviving Islaam

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim Rahimahullaah said:
من طلب العلم ليحيي به الإسلام فهو من الصديقين ودرجته بعد درجة النبوة.
‘Whoever sought knowledge in order to revive by it al-Islaam then he is from the Siddiqeen (the truthful ones) and his rank is that below the rank of prophet hood.’

قال ابن القيم رحمه الله :
