The Companions of the Prophet

Shaykh ul Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah -Rahimahullaah- (d. 728 A.H.) said:
أَصْحَابُ اَلنَّبِيِّ – صَلَّى اَللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ – هُم أَعْلَمَ اَلنَّاس بِسَنَتِهِ ، وَأَرْغَبُ اَلنَّاس
فِي اِتِّبَاعِهَا
‘The Companions of the Prophet – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam- were the most knowledgeable of the people of his Sunnah and out of all the people had the most desire in following it.’

أصحاب النبي – صلى الله عليه وسلم – هم أعلم الناس بسنته ، وأرغب الناس في اتباعها..

شیخ الاسلام نے کہا:
صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ علیہم اجمعین آپ صَلَّى الله عَليهِ وَسَلم کی سنت کے بارے میں لوگوں میں سب سے زیادہ جاننے والے اور اس پر عمل کرنے کے سب سے زیادہ خواہش مند ہیں۔
