The Books of Shaykh Albaani
Shaykh Muqbil bin Hadi al-Wadi’aee -rahimullah- said:
ﺃﻱ ﻣﻜﺘﺒﺔ ﻟﻴﺲ ﻓﻴﻬﺎ ﻛﺘﺐ ﻧﺎﺻﺮ ﺍﻟﺪﻳﻦ ﺍﻷﻟﺒﺎﻧﻲ ﻓﻬﻲ ﺗﻌﺘﺒﺮ ﻓﻘﻴﺮﺓ ، ﻓﺠﺰﺍﻩ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻦ ﺍﻹﺳﻼﻡ ﻭﺍﻟﻤﺴﻠﻤﻴﻦ ﺧﻴﺮﺍً
‘Any library which does not contain the books of Nasir uddeen al-Albaani then it is regarded as a poor one.
So may Allaah reward him with goodness on behalf of Islaam and the Muslims.’

Expressing Knowledge
Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah Rahimahullaah said:
‘Not everyone who obtains knowledge has the capability to express it and use it as an evidence.
Knowledge is one thing and explaining it is something else, debating about it and establishing its evidence is a third matter, and replying to the evidence of those who oppose him is a fourth matter.’

التعبير عن العلم
قال شيخ الاسلام ابن تبمية رحمه الله:
ليس كلُّ من وجدَ العلم قدرَ على التعبير عنه والاحتجاج له، فالعلمُ شيءٌ، وبيانه شيء آخر، والمناظرةُ عنه وإقامةُ دليله شيء ثالث، والجواب عن حجة مخالفِه شيء رابعٌ

Result of leaving sitting with the scholars
From Muhammad bin Sireen -Rahimahullaah- who said:
‘Indeed a people left seeking knowledge and the gatherings of the scholars, they took to excessive prayer and fasting so much so that their skins had dried on to their bones. Then they opposed the Sunnah so they became destroyed.
They spilt the blood of the Muslims. I swear by Allaah by whom there is none other to be worshipped, no one did an action upon ignorance except that he spoilt matters more than rectifying them.’

عن محمد بن سيرين رحمه الله قال:
” إن قوما تركوا طلب العلم ومجالسة العلماء ، وأخذوا في الصلاة والصيام حتى يبس جلد أحدهم على عظمه ، ثم خالفوا السنة فهلكوا ، وسفكوا دماء المسلمين، فوالذي لا إله غيره ، ما عمل أحد عملا على جهل إلا كان يفسد أكثر مما يصلح.”

Shaykh Rabee is like a firmly rooted mountain
Shaykh Muhammad Bazmool said:
لقد تكلم الشيخ ربيع المدخلي في كتب سيد قطب يوم كان الكلام ضده خطاً أحمر
فمشى عكس التيار وواجه الاعصار وثبت كالجبل الأشم فجزاه الله خير الجزاء
‘Indeed Shaykh Rabee al-Madkhali spoke against the books of Sayyid Qutb at a time when speaking against him was crossing the red line. The Shaykh went forth in opposition to the waves and faced the storm like a firmly rooted mountain. May Allaah reward him with goodness.’

Distributing Islamic Books
Shaykh AbdulAziz bin Baz -Rahimahullaah- said:
“توزيع الكتب والأشرطة النافعة الصادرة من علماء السنة من أفضل القربات، لأن ذلك من نشر العلم والدعوة إلى الخير”.
‘Distributing beneficial books and cassettes authored by the scholars of the Sunnah is from the best ways of coming closer to Allaah. That is because it is distributing knowledge and inviting to goodness.’

قال ابن باز:
“توزيع الكتب والأشرطة النافعة الصادرة من علماء السنة من أفضل القربات، لأن ذلك من نشر العلم والدعوة إلى الخير”.
