The Sickness

From Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allaah – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam said:
ملعونٌ من عَمِلَ عَمَلَ قوم لوط
ملعونٌ من عَمِلَ عَمَلَ قوم لوط،
ملعونٌ من عَمِلَ عَمَلَ قوم لوط،
ملعونٌ من ذبحَ لغيرِ اللهِ،
ملعونٌ من عَقَّ والديه”
‘The person who does the act of the people of Lut is cursed, the person who does the act of the people of Lut is cursed, the person who does the act of the people of Lut is cursed.
The person who slaughters for other than Allaah is cursed. The person who disobeys his parents is cursed.’

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim – Rahimahullaah- said
Indeed, the pure Tawheed which is not contaminated with Shirk, the Tawheed by which sin does not remain is the Tawheed which includes loving Allaah, regarding Him as Magnificent, regarding Allaah as great, being fearful of Him, having hope in Him alone, then this obligates the washing away of sins, even if they were the like of the earth, since this filth of sins is temporary, and the repelling power of Tawheed has a strength by which sins cannot stand against Tawheed.
However, the filth of Zina (illicit intercourse) and homosexuality is more coarse and severe than other filth, from the perspective that it corrupts the heart, and it severely weakens the person’s Tawheed and this is why those who have a share of this filth are the most who commit Shirk.
For whenever Shirk is predominant in a slave then This impurity and filth of homosexuality in a person will be worse.
Also, for whenever a person is greater in Ikhlaas (sincerity) then he will be further away from homosexuality
As Allaah Ta’ala said:
{كَذلِكَ لِنَصْرِفَ عَنْهُ السُّوءَ وَالْفَحْشَاءَ إنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا المخْلَصِينَ}
<<Thus it was, that We might turn away from him evil and illegal sexual intercourse. Surely, he was one of Our chosen, guided slaves.>>

قال ابن القيم رحمه الله تعالى
فإن التوحيد الخالص الذى لا يشوبه شرك لا يبقى معه ذنب. فإنه يتضمن من محبة الله تعالى وإجلاله، وتعظيمه، وخوفه، ورجائه وحده ما يوجب غسل الذنوب، ولو كانت قراب الأرض، فالنجاسة عارضة، والدافع لها قوى فلا تثبت معه، ولكن نجاسة الزنا واللواط أغلظ من غيرهما من النجاسات، من جهة أنها تفسد القلب، وتضعف توحيده جدا، ولهذا كان أحظى الناس بهذه النجاسة أكثرهم شركاء، فكلما كان الشرك فى العبد أغلب كانت هذه النجاسة والخبائث فيه أكثر، وكلما كان أعظم إخلاصا كان منها أبعد، كما قال تعالى عن يوسف الصديق عليه السلام.
{كَذلِكَ لِنَصْرِفَ عَنْهُ السُّوءَ وَالْفَحْشَاءَ إنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا المخْلَصِينَ} [يوسف: ٢٤] .
