Intelligence is Following The Messenger

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawzeeyah said:
‘When a person is further away from following the Messenger ﷺ then his intellect will be less and corrupt.
The people with the most complete intellect: are the followers of the Messengers.
The people with the most evil of intellect: are those who turn away from the Messengers and from what they brought.
This is why the people of Sunnah and Hadeeth are the most intellectual of the Ummah, and their like amongst the sects of the Muslims are like the Companions among the other people.’

العاقل من اتبع الرسول
قال الإمام ابن القيم رحمه الله :
كلما كان الرجل عن الرسولﷺ
أبعد كان عقله أقل وأفسد
فأكمل الناس عقولا :
أتباع الرسل
وأفســــدهم عقولا :
المعرض عنهم وعما جاءوا به
ولهذا كان أهل السنة والحديث
أعقل الأمة وهــم في الطوائف
كالصحابة في الناس

*عقلمندی رسول ﷺ کی فرمانبرداری میں ہے*
امام ابن القیم رحمہ اللہ فرماتے ہیں:
کوئی بھی شخص جتنا رسول اللہ ﷺ سے دور ہوگا، اتنی ہی اس کی عقل کم اور فساد سے زیادہ بھرپور ہوگی۔
لہذا، سب سے زیادہ عقل والے لوگ رسولوں کے پیروکار ہیں، اور سب سے زیادہ فاسد عقل والے لوگ وہ ہیں جو ان سے اور ان کی تعلیمات سے دور رہتے ہیں۔
اسی لیے، اہل سنت و حدیث امت کے سب سے زیادہ عقل مند لوگ ہیں، اور فرقوں میں انکی مثال ویسی ہی ہے جیسے صحابہ کرام کی مثال لوگوں میں۔
