Followers of the Messenger
SallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam
Translated

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim -Rahimuhullaah- said:
” كل من دعا إلى نفس ما جاء به الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم فهو من أتباعه ،
فلا بد أن يناله من الأذى من أتباع الشيطان بحسب حاله وحالهم والله المستعان “.
‘Everyone who calls to the same matter what the Messenger sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam came with is from his followers. Most definitely he will receive some harm from the followers of Shaytaan relative to his circumstance and their circumstance.
Allaah’s aid is sought.’

قال الامام ابن القيم -رحمه الله-:
” كل من دعا إلى نفس ما جاء به الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم فهو من أتباعه ،
فلا بد أن يناله من الأذى من أتباع الشيطان بحسب حاله وحالهم والله المستعان “.

The Prophetic Light The Sunnah
*نور النبوة السنة*
Imam Ibn al-Qayyim Rahimuhullaah said:
” فأهل الأرض كلهم في ظلمات الجهل
والغي ، إلا من أشرق عليه نور النبوة “.
‘All the people on the earth are in the darkness of ignorance and misguidance except for the one who has the Prophetic light [the Sunnah] radiate upon him.’

قال الامام ابن القيم -رحمه الله-:
” فأهل الأرض كلهم في ظلمات الجهل
والغي ، إلا من أشرق عليه نور النبوة “.
هداية الحيارى (ص٤٤٨).
Reward for Reviving the Sunnah
*أجر لإحياء السنة*
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen Rahimuhullaah said:
‘It is known that a person is rewarded twice for reviving the Sunnan:
• مـرة على فعـل السنـة
• once for performing the Sunnah
• ومرة على إحياء السنة
• and again for reviving the Sunnah.’

أجر لإحياء السنة
قال الشيخ ابن عثيمين رحمه الله
ومعلوم أن إحياء السنن يؤجر الإنسان عليه مرتين :
• مـرة على فعـل السنـة
• ومرة على إحياء السنة

A Powerful Weapon against the People of Bida
*❍ سلاح قوي على المبتدعة ❍*
Shaykh Muhammad Nasir uddeen al-Albaani quoted:
*«روى البيهقي بسندٍ صحيح عن سعيد بن المسيب أنَّه رأىٰ رجلاً يصلي بعد طلوع الفجر أكثر من ركعتين, يكثر فيها الركوع والسجود؛ فنهاه؛ فقال: “يا أبا محمد! أيعذبني الله على الصلاة؟! قال: لا, ولكن يُعذِّبُك علىٰ خِلافِ السُّنَّة”».*
‘Al-Bayhaqi narrated with an authentic chain from Sa’eed bin al-Musayib who said that he saw a man doing a lot of Ruku and Sujood [praying a lot of optional prayers] after the Fajr prayer, so he prohibited him from it. So the man said: ‘O Abu Muhammad, will Allaah punish me for the prayer?’
He answered:
*‘No, but for opposing the Sunnah.’*
Shaykh Albaani commented:
‘This is from the amazing answers of Sa’eed bin al-Musayib -Rahimahullaah. It is a strong weapon against the people of Bida’ who regard many Bida’ as good in the name of that it is indeed Dhikr and prayer.
Then these people go on to criticise the people of Sunnah for criticising them for these matters and they accuse the people of Sunnah saying that they reject Dhikr and prayer!!
In reality the people of Sunnah criticise the people of Bida for their opposition to the Sunnah as it relates to Dhikr and the prayer etc.’

*❍ سلاح قوي على المبتدعة ❍*
▪قال العلامة الألباني -رحمه الله -:
*«روى البيهقي بسندٍ صحيح عن سعيد بن المسيب أنَّه رأىٰ رجلاً يصلي بعد طلوع الفجر أكثر من ركعتين, يكثر فيها الركوع والسجود؛ فنهاه؛ فقال: “يا أبا محمد! أيعذبني الله على الصلاة؟! قال: لا, ولكن يُعذِّبُك علىٰ خِلافِ السُّنَّة”».*
▫وهٰذا من بدائع أجوبة سعيد بن المسيب -رحمه الله-, وهو سلاح قوي على المبتدعة الذين يستحسنون كثيراً من البدع باسم أنها ذكر وصلاة, ثم ينكرون على أهل السنة إنكار ذٰلك عليهم ويتهمونهم بأنهم ينكرون الذكر والصلاة!! وهم في الحقيقة إنما ينكرون خلافهم للسنة في الذكر والصلاة ونحو ذٰلك.
