Imam Ibn Baz -Rahimahullaah- said:
‘When a person does not attend gatherings of knowledge, does not hear Khutbahs, and does not have a concern with what is conveyed from the people of knowledge, then he increases in his negligence and perhaps his heart becomes hard until his heart is stamped and sealed so he becomes from the negligent.

قال الإمام ابن باز -رحِمهُ الله-:
فإنَّ الإنسانَ إذا كان ﻻ يَحضُر حَلقَاتِ العِلْمِ وﻻ يَسْمع الخُطَب وﻻ يَعْتَنِي بِما يُنْقَل عن أهْلِ العِلْم فإنّهُ تَزْدادُ غفلَتُه، ورُبَّما يَقْسُو قلبُه حتى يُطبَع عليه ويُخْتَم عليه فيَكُون من الغافِلِين
