No Socialism in Islaam

Shaykh Rabee’ said:
‘It has not been possible for any country, throughout history, to make all its people wealthy. So, it is necessary that there will be a presence of poor people and the rich, subordinates and leaders, the ignorant and scholars, foolish people and intelligent people. This is the universal Sunnah (way) of Allaah of His creation.
Allaah Ta’ala said:
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيراً بَصِيراً
<< Truly, your Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills and straitens (for whom He wills). Verily, He is Ever All-Knower, All-Seer of His slaves.>> [Isra:30]
Allaah Ta’ala said:
اللّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَقَدِرُ وَفَرِحُواْ بِالْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا فِي الآخِرَةِ إِلاَّ مَتَاعٌ
<< Allaah increases the provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills), and they rejoice in the life of the world, whereas the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter is but a brief passing enjoyment.>> [Ra’ad: 26]
Allah Ta’ala said:
اللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
<< Allaah enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and straitens it for whom (He wills). Verily, Allaah is the All-Knower of everything. >> [Ankaboot: 62]
Allaah Ta’ala said:
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
<< Do they not see that Allaah enlarges the provision for whom He wills and straitens (it for whom He wills). Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who believe. >> [Room: 37]
Allaah Ta’ala said:
قُلْ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُ وَمَا أَنفَقْتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهُ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
<<Say: ‘Truly, my Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and (also) restricts (it) for him, and whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allaah’s Cause), He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers.’ >> [Saba: 39]
Allaah Ta’ala said:
وَلَوْ بَسَطَ اللَّهُ الرِّزْقَ لِعِبَادِهِ لَبَغَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَكِن يُنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٍ مَّا يَشَاءُ إِنَّهُ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيرٌ بَصِيرٌ
<< And if Allaah were to enlarge the provision for His slaves, they would surely rebel in the earth, but He sends down by measure as He wills. Verily! He is in respect of His slaves, the Well-Aware, the All-Seer (of things that benefit them). >> [Shuraa: 27]
Therefore Allaah extends provisions (ar-Rizq) for whom He wills, and He restricts it for whom He wills, due to a Perfect Wisdom from Him, and as a test for His worshippers and also as an affliction.
Will the poor, whose provision is constrained for them, be patient so that He will reward them for their patience.
Will the rich be grateful for the blessings of Allaah upon them, or will they reject the blessings and be haughty because of the wealth.
So Allaah will reward the grateful with reward due to their gratefulness.
He will punish those who disbelieve in His blessings, with a deserving punishment.’
