Anasheed & Acting
Part Three

Shaykh the scholar of Hadeeth Muhammad Nasiruddeen al-Albaani (d. 1420 A.H.) was asked about the ruling on Acting
He answered:
‘We say it is not allowed, acting is not legislated in Islaam, due to many reasons, from them:
Firstly, that this is the way of the non-Muslims, the path of the non-Muslims is appropriate for them but it is not becoming for the Muslims.
The second matter is that it is definite that in acting there occurs matters of lying, which have no reality in Islaamic history or the biographies of the foremost Companions.
Thirdly and lastly, perhaps there occurs another opposition to Islaam in acting, which is where men resemble women or women resemble men.
Or men freely mixing with women, and as it has been said, the sweetest of the two is bitter!
Therefore, how can we hold this type of acting to be permissible ?!
So, therefore, if these types of acting is researched, we come out with a result, that it is not allowed in the Deen of Islaam.’

حُكم التمثيل
نقول: لا يجوز، لا يُشرَع في الإسلامِ تمثيليّات؛ لأسبابٍ كثيرة، منها:
أولًا: أن هٰذا طريقةُ الكُفّار، وطريقةُ الكُفّارِ تَلِيقُ بهم ولا تَلِيق بالمسلمين؛
الأمر الثاني: هو أنه لا بد أن يَقعَ في هٰذه التمثيليات أمورٌ مَكذوبة لا حقيقة لها في التاريخ الإسلاميّ أو في السيرة الأُولىٰ،
ثالثًا وأخيرًا: قد يَدْخُل في التمثيليات مخالَفةٌ أخرىٰ وهي: تَشبُّه الرجالِ بالنساء، أو تشبُّه النساء بالرجال، أو اختلاط الرجال بالنساء، وكما يقال: أحلاهما مُرُّ! فكيف نَسْتجيز نحن مِثْلَ هٰذه التمثيليات؟!
ولذٰلك إذا دُرستْ هٰذه التمثيليات؛ نَخْرُج بنتيجة: أنها لا تُشْرَع في دين الإسلام
