Adhering to the Sunnah

Shaykh Muqbil bin Hadi al-Wada’aee said:
‘I am amazed by the statement of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymeeyah -Rahimahullaah:
*إنما يرفع الله الشخص بقدر تمسكه*
*بسنة الرسول ﷺ*
Indeed Allaah raises a person’s status due to the amount he adheres to the Sunnah of the Messenger ﷺ.’

قال العلامة مقبل الوادعي:
وتعجبني كلمة لشيخ الاسلام ابن تيميه رحمهم الله :
إنما يرفع الله الشخص بقدر تمسكه بسنة الرسول ﷺ.
