People are Recognised by the truth

*People are recognised by the truth but the truth is not recognised through the people *
(الرجال يُعرفون بالحقّ ولا يُعرف الحقّ بالرجال)
Shaykh Rabee al-Madkhali said:
‘O youth of Islaam, the ship of salvation is returning the judgement according to Allaah, the ship of salvation is fleeing to obedience to Allaah and to the Messenger of Allaah:
{ ففروا إلى الله }
《Flee to Allaah》
[Dhariyaat: 50]
Seeking refuge to Allaah and His Judgement in matters of differences, so we can be clear who is upon the truth, so we can take his statement, not because he is so and so person, but because he has the evidence with him, because he has the truth with him, and because he has with him the saying of Allaah and the saying of the Messenger of Allaah -alayhi as-Salat wa Salam, we leave the one who opposes this, no matter who he is, no matter how much his feet are grounded in knowledge, in worship, in the Deen and being cautious.
There is speech of the scholars and it is possible that we can label it as a principle, which is:
الرجال يُعرفون بالحقّ ولا يُعرف الحقّ بالرجال
People are recognised by the truth, but the truth is not recognised through the people
‘People are recognised by the truth’ – meaning, we do not say that they are upon the truth except when we find that the truth supports them and that the texts of the Qur’aan and the Sunnah supports them.
‘the truth is not recognised through the people’ – means, that you only make this one person as someone who you take from, and make him the scale and gauge for the truth, so whatever he says is the truth, and whatever he does not say is falsehood, whatever he rejects is falsehood which perhaps could be the truth and he could even be upon the opposing matter which is falsehood, therefore, we do not know the truth by men, but in fact we know the men by the truth.
The Messenger -alayhi as-Salat wa Salam- gave a solution when differences flared up between the Muslims and there was an increase of disputes between them and many of the people were continuously in confusion….. where is the truth?
They say: ‘I do not know where the truth is?’
The Messenger of Allaah -alayhi as-Salat wa Salam- instructed us to search for his guidance and the guidance of his rightly guided Khulafah and to adhere to it and bite on to it with the molar teeth.’

▪قال فضيلة الشيخ العلامة ربيع المدخلي حفظه الله وسدده:
فيا شباب الإسلام، سفينة النّجاة هي الاحتكام إلى الله، سفينة النّجاة هي الفَزَعُ إلى طاعة الله وإلى طاعة رسول الله : { ففروا إلى الله }[الذاريات: 50] اللّجوء إلى الله وإلى حكمه في قضايا الخلاف؛ لنتبيّن من على الحقّ ، فناخذ قوله ، لا لأنّه فلان ، ولكن لأنّ معه الحجّة ،ولأنّ معه الحقّ، ولأنّ معه قول الله وقول رسول الله عليه الصلاة والسلام ، ونترك من يخالفه كائنًا من كان ، مهما رسخت قدمه في العلم وفي العبادة وفي الدّين وفي الورع، وهناك كلام يقوله العلماء يمكن أن نسميه قاعدة وهو :
(الرجال يُعرفون بالحقّ ولا يُعرف الحقّ بالرجال)
الرجال يُعرفون بالحق يعني : ما نقول أنّهم على حقّ إلا إذا وجدنا الحقّ يؤيدهم ونصوص القرآن والسنّة تؤيدهم ،
(ولا يعرف الحق بالرجال) يعني : تجعل مِن الرجل هو قناتك الوحيدة، وتجعله ميزانًا ومقياسّا للحقّ، فما يقوله هو الحقّ، وما لا يقوله هو الباطل، وما يرفضه هو الباطل وقد يكون حقًّا، وما يقبله هو الحقُّ وقد يكون على خلاف الأمر باطلاً ،
إذًا نحن لا نعرف الحقّ بالرجال ، إنّما نعرف الرجال بالحقّ ،
فالرسول عليه الصلاة والسلام وضع المخرج حينما تحتدم الخلافات بين المسلمين ، وتكثر بينهم النِّزاعات، ويظلّ كثيرٌ من النّاس في حيرة ..أين الحق؟ لا أدري أين الحق؟
يرشدنا رسول الله عليه الصلاة والسلام إلى أن نبحث عن هديه وعن هدي خلفائه الراشدين المهديين، ونتمسك به، ونعض عليه بالنواجذ.
