A superstitious belief

Shaykh Muhammad Nasir uddeen Al-Albaani said:
‘From the delusion and superstitions which the common folk believe in is that an itch on the right hand is a sign of the good news of the arrival of provision.
Also that an itch on the left hand is an indication of spending wealth, and perhaps perchance this occurs so a person thinks that this belief is correct and experienced.
This is belief in omens and this is committing Shirk with Allaah Subhanahu as is affirmed in the Hadeeth:
«الطيرة شرك الطيرة شرك الطيرة شرك»
‘Belief in omens is Shirk, Belief in omens is Shirk, Belief in omens is Shirk.’
What is also included in this belief of superstitions is the threat which came from the Messenger of Allaah – sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam in his statement:
« ليس مِنَّا مَنْ تَطير أَو تُطير له، أَو تَكهَّنَ أو تُكهِّنَ له، أَو سَحر أَو سُحر له »
‘He is not from us who believes in omens and has omens made for him, or does sorcery and has sorcery done for him, or does magic or magic is done for him.’

الإمــام #ناصر_الدّين_الألباني رحمه اللّٰه
مـن الأوهـام والخرافـات الّتـي يعتقده العامة مـن النّـاس أنّ الحكّـة فـي اليد اليمنـى تبشّـر بقـدوم رزق، والحكّـة في اليد اليسرى تشير إلى صـرف المال وقـد يتحقّـق ذلك صدفـةً فيظـن أن هـذا الاعتقـاد صحيح ومجرب !
هـذه طيرة والطيرة شـرك باللّٰه سبحانه كمـا ثبـت ذلك في الحديث :
« الطيرة شرك الطيرة شرك الطيرة شرك »

ويشمل مُعتقدَ هذه الخرافة الوعيدُ الّذي جاء عن رسـول اللّٰه صلّى اللّٰه عليه وسلّم فـي قـولـه :« ليس مِنَّا مَنْ تَطير أَو تُطير له، أَو تَكهَّنَ أو تُكهِّنَ له، أَو سَحر أَو سُحر له »
