Allaah Ta’ala said:
( وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِينًا مِمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ)النساء:125،
《And who can be better in religion than one who submits his face (himself) to Allaah (i.e. follows Allah’s Religion of Islamic Monotheism); and he is a Muhsin (a good-doer).》
Ibn al-Qayyim -Rahimahmullaah- said:
‘[Submits his face (himself) to Allaah], means sincerity of intention and action only for Allaah.
Ihsaan (doing good deeds) means, following Allaah’s Messenger -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam and his Sunnah.’
