The Last Night in the Life of a Scholar
🌙 *الليلة الأخيرة*

1 – The last night in the life of Shaykh AbdulAziz bin Abdullaah Bin Baz (d. 1420 A.H.) -Rahimahullaah
His wife mentioned:
‘He would wake up, laugh and fall asleep again. Then he would wake up laughing then fall asleep not in his usual manner then he died on that night.’
2 – The last night in the life of Shaykh Muqbil bin Hadi al-Wada’ee (d. 1422 A.H.) – Rahimahullaah
One of the companions of the Shaykh said:
‘On the last night in the life of the Shaykh, some brothers and I, who used to accompany the Shaykh, were in his room.
We would read to him when he would wake up from being unconscious. Whilst we were reading to him, a man entered, gave Salaam and began crying and then the Shaykh began crying and all those present began crying. That man was Shaykh Rabia’ bin Hadi.
This was the final night in the life of the Shaykh.’
3 – The last night in the life of Shaykh Muhammad al-Uthaymeen (d. 1421 A.H.) – Rahimahullaah
His son said:
‘On the last night in the life of my father, he would wake up and read Qur’aan. Then he would doze off but we would not know if he had fallen asleep or fallen into unconsciousness, then he would wake up and read Qur’aan. He was like that for the whole night and this was on the last night of his life. After a few hours, he passed away.’
4 – The last night in the life of Shaykh Muhammad Amaan al-Jami (d. 1416 A.H.) – Rahimahullaah
One of his students said:
‘The Shaykh used to read a lot but when he became weak he lacked the strength to read, so he told his son Ali or AbdulMalik to read to him.
The Shaykh’s son said:
On the last night of his life he ordered me to read, I read for a very long time and the Shaykh said: ‘Yes, carry on.’
His son mentioned:
‘I would not take a rest or drink some water except that the Shaykh would say: ‘Read.’
So I would continue reading. It continued like this until he fell into unconsciousness. He regained consciousness once and said
“O Ali! Tell the shaykhs to be aware of Allaah in regard to the Aqeedah and to be aware of Allaah in regard to Tawheed”
The Shaykh died after that.’
5 – The last night in the life of Shaykh Muhammad Nasiruddeen al-Albaani (d. 1420 A.H.) – Rahimahullaah
Sakinah bint Al-Albaani, may Allaah have mercy on her and her father, said:
‘My father had been afflicted with a number of illnesses, including anemia and sickness of the liver and sickness of one of his kidneys. However, he would be patient, hoping for a reward, such that it would seem as if he had no pain whatsoever.
On his last night and whilst he was sleeping, I heard him say pass me the book ‘Al-Jarh wa Tadheel’, give me the book ‘al-Il’al’ volume such and such page such and such.’
May Allaah have mercy upon our scholars, and unite us with them along with the Prophets and the righteous ones.

الليلة الأخيرة في حياة الشيخ #ابن_باز
قالت زوجته: كان يستيقظ يضحك ثم ينام ثم يستيقظ ضاحكآ ثم ينام على غير عادته ثم مات من ليلته
الليلة الأخيرة في حياة الشيخ #مقبل
قال أحد رفقاء الشيخ:
في أخر ليلة في حياة الشيخ كنت أنا وبعض الإخوة نرافقه في غرفته نقرأ عليه عندما يستفيق من غيبوبته
فبينما نحن نقرأ عليه دخل رجل فسلم وبكى والشيخ بكى وكل الحضور بكوا فإذا به الشيخ ربيع بن هادي وكانت هذه أخر ليلة في حياة الشيخ
الليلة الأخيرة في حياة الشيخ #العثيمين
قال ابنه:
أخر ليلة في حياة والدي كان يستيقظ يقرأ القرآن ثم يغفو لا ندري نام أم دخل غيبوبة ثم يستيقظ يقرأ القرآن وهكذا طوال الليلة
وهذا في أخر ليلة في حياته وقد توفى بعدها بساعات
الليلة الأخيرة في حياة الشيخ أمان الجامي
قال أحد طلابه :
كان الشيخ كثير القراءة فلما ضعف وهن عن القراءة فكان يجعل ابنه علي أو عبدالملك يقرؤون عليه
قال ابن الشيخ: وفي أخر ليلة أمرني أن أقرأ وأطلت جدآ والشيخ يقول نعم أكمل يقول ما أن أخذ نفسي أو أشرب الماء إلا وهو يقول إقرأ فأقرأ وهكذا إلى أن دخل في غيبوبة الموت أفاق منها مرة فقال ياعلي قل للمشايخ الله الله في العقيدة الله الله في التوحيد ومات بعدها
أخر ليلة في حياة الشيخ #الألباني
قالت سكينة بنت الشيخ الألباني رحمهما الله:
كان أبي قد أصيب بعدة أمراض منها فقر الدم والكبد وأصيبت إحدى كليتيه وهو صابر محتسب يكاد لا يتوجع وفي أخر ليلة له وهو نائم سمعته يقول ناولوني كتاب الجرح والتعديل هاتوا كتاب العلل جزء كذا صفحة كذا
رحم الله مشايخنا وسادتنا وتاج رؤوسنا وحشرنا معهم في زمرة النبيين والصالحين .
