No Justification with differences of opinions

🌴  Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan said:
لا يحتج بالخلاف إلَّا أهل الأهواء؛ الذين يحبون أن يتَّبعوا أهواءهم، أما الذي يخاف الله فلا يحتج بالخلاف؛ وإنَّما يحتج بالدليل .
‘No one uses differences of opinions as a justification except the people of desires, those who love to follow their own desires.  As for the person who fears Allaah then he does not use differences of opinions as justification, but rather he uses proofs as evidence.’
